Originally, the helical staircase was called a historical model spiral staircase . Keeping the same shape, the helical staircase does not use the central post but an inner and an outer helix.

This evolution of the classic spiral staircase brings greater stability despite the fact that there is no central support. As you can see in the pictures, a helical staircase can reach up to 3 metres in diameter. The impact in furnishing the interior of a home is impressive as well as bringing greater comfort when going up and downstairs. The spiral staircases in the photo are made of wood, crystal and Corten.
